Who it's for
Founders putting a first real page behind a product that already works. It suits a single product with a single pricing model best. If you are selling three tiers to three different buyer types, you will outgrow the pricing section quickly and want something built for that.
It also works for developer tools specifically, which is why the type scale matters: marketing site and docs often end up on the same domain, and a template whose typography cannot carry a code block forces a redesign the first time you write one.
How to customise it
Start with the pricing table, not the hero. It is the section most likely to need structural changes rather than copy changes, and finding that out after you have written all the marketing copy is the wrong order.
The changelog runs on the CMS, so shipping notes are a new row rather than a new page. Worth wiring up early even if you have nothing to put in it yet, because a changelog that starts three months after launch reads worse than no changelog at all.
For the feature rows, resist turning the prose back into bullets. The rows alternate to give each feature room for a real sentence, and a list of nouns tells a visitor nothing they could not guess from your category.
