Template license.
Plain language, because a license nobody reads protects nobody. This covers every template published under gwatsin.com, free and paid alike.
What you can do
- Use a template for your own site, personal or commercial.
- Use a template on a site you build for a client, and charge that client for your work.
- Change anything: layout, type, colour, copy, structure. It is yours to take apart.
- Use it on as many of your own projects as you like.
- Keep using it if you later cancel a Framer plan or stop buying templates.
What you cannot do
- Resell the template, modified or not, as a template.
- Redistribute the files, publicly or privately, free or paid.
- Re-list it on the Framer Marketplace or any other template marketplace.
- Bundle it into a product whose main value is the template itself, such as a template pack or a subscription library.
- Claim authorship of the original template design.
The short version
Build whatever you want with it, for yourself or for a client. Do not turn it back into a template and sell it.
Free versus paid
The terms are the same either way. A free template is not a trial or a cut-down version, and paying does not buy extra rights. The only difference is the price.
Third-party content
Photography, illustration, icons, and fonts shown in a template preview are for demonstration and are not always licensed for redistribution. Replace placeholder imagery with assets you have the right to use before publishing. Where a template depends on a specific font, its page says so.
No warranty
Templates are provided as they are. They are tested across the breakpoints listed on each template page, but they are not guaranteed to be fit for a particular purpose, and no liability is accepted for any loss arising from their use.
